Hi, ive just started so am new at this!
i have a small hard backed diary that i use to write what my mindee has done in the day for his mum to take home and read, but should i be writing my own diary? like what hes played with and eaten and stuff? do ofsted need to see that? sorry if i sound stupid!!

I write what they have played with and eaten in their diary that goes home with the parents to read.
I don't keep my own diary.

When the child leaves I keep their diary jsut in case I need to show it in the future, if something should arise.

I don't currently write a diary for myself, BUT it is something that I am wanting to start.

More of what activity we did that day - how the activity went down with the children, where we've been, how the children did or didn't enjoy, that kind of thing.

I have copies of all my menus so I have that info that way.

I do daily diary for parents:)

I keep a diary - it just mentions who was here, any outings and if anything happened that wasn't part of the routine :D
