what time do u get up and what time do mindees arrive?

Hi all

Just curious really!

I have always got up at 6am and mindees arrive at 7.45 onwards!

Anyway the last 2 days I have gone on semi strike :laughing: and have got up at 7.15am so leaving me just half an hour! And it works!!!!

I get up at 7, shower, tidy upstairs, clean bathroom and loo, down by 20 past.

Packed lunches (usually), breakfasts, tidy round, washer on and safety checks done by 730.

Wake up my lot for school (usually).

Cup of tea and half an hour to do paperwork and catch up on here.

First children arrive at 8 :D

he he he i get up at 8 mindees arrive any time from 8.15 all i need to do is get up and put on my clothes i don't do morning well so we have quite time for an hour watching tv and waking up which suits me fine!!!

I usually get up half an hour before mindees are due. That gives me time for a shower , cup of tea and getting dressed.
First mindees due at 7.45 this morning and they're late ( nothing new there ).

I get up with DS at 7am an mindees arrive 8.15am apart from monday when ds had stayed overnite at my brothers an i was woken by the doorbell - DOH. Good job it was a friend and not a parent I didnt know :blush: was very apologetic.....

Holidays, my 2 don't get up early and nor do I!

I need an hour at least to get organised in the morning, longer if my 2 are at school and I need to herd them along.

On school days I am up by 6.30 to make sure my teens have got up. Shower and tidy upstairs by 7, PC on for forum till my 2 have gone to school about 7.30. Safety checks and clear breakfast mess from kids, toys out and mindee arrives 8.15.

im up at 6.30am so i can have some me time before my two get up at 7am on a school day then mindees arrive at 8am onwards. in the hols i still get up 6.30am but mytwo have been laying in till 8am which up untill the last few weeks is unheard of so i am getting lots of me and housework time now:thumbsup:

Up at 7.50, first mindee at 8.10, all my checks are done the night before, I don't work before 8 in the morning. I used to get up at 7 for first mindee arriving at 7.30 but it was just too early and wasn't worth my while as mindee was only here before and after school.

I'm get up the same time regardless. Get up about 7.10. Last year mindees arrived between 7.45 and some days not until 8.20.

This year I'm back to three siblings arriving at 7.30. Going to be a shock to the system! but only 3 days a week.

I get up at 6am and my first mindees arrive at 6.30am on a Thursday and Friday. I have managed to get longer in bed during the school holidays as Mon to Wed the earliest arrival is 8.30am to I have then got up at 7.45am.

Back to reality next week when the kids are back to school and a 6am start all week then.

But in term time I get up at 6.30 for my 7am arrivals.

I only give myself half an hour to have a wash, get dressed, have a ciggie.

I don't bath in the mornings, I do that before I get into bed.

Oh unless my daughter decides to have wonof her earlymorings then im awake from 6.30am but we have cuddles so im still in bed!

My mindee's arrive just after 9 usually. I have the alarm set for 8.15 and snooze it for about 20 mins.
Although i have a bad habit of nearly sleeping in and actually have done a few times. But if need be i can be up, washed, teeth brushed and dressed within 5 minutes. :blush:

I am a bit obsessive really i think.....

I get up between 6.15am and 6.30am
My mindee arrives at 8.30am

I spend between the time i get up and mindee arriving doing the following

Clean bathroom
Shower, make-up, dry hair, get dressed
Breakfast for my 2 pre-school children
Help my children get dressed
tidy up, safety checks
normally all done about 8am but i am early for everything!!

Up at 7am get showered, dressed, hair done and them wake my 2 up and lay out their clothes then pop downstairs and make a coffee and sort out kids breakfast before first mindee arrives at 7.30am. He normally arrives and sits with my 2 with a bit of toast and then I do packed lunches, safety checks, poop check in the garden and my other 3 mindees arrive and then its buggy sorted and away we go to school

My first mindees come anytime from 6.40 onwards so i have to get up at different times some days. Its the luck you get from living opposite a hospital and have NHS staff as customers:D

I get up half an hour before the first mindees is due, which varies on the day, but this is sufficient time to shower, dress and check kitchen, i leave the bathroom check and cup of tea until after the school runs, as not sure what mess my kids will leave and dh goes on driving school run as first mindees arrive at house, so as he is the tea maker I wait!!!

I've got a mindee that arrives 7.30 and i'm up at 7am. Don't think i could cope getting up any earlier. But i wake quickly! I'm not the type of person who takes ages to wake up properly! :laughing: So half an hour does me fine!:thumbsup:

I get up at 7.15 1st mindee arrives at 7.45 takes me a while 2 fully function, dressed and washed in couple of minutes hang washing out from night cycle, cup of tea thn mindee arrives we watch numberjacks :rolleyes: till I wake fully then get mindees n own kids breakfast and have another cuppa with slice of toast lol

I'm up at 5.30 term time for 1st mindee between 6 and 6.15am!!!! 2 of my after schoolers leave between 6 and 6.30 pm so long days lol!! still the mindee who arrives at 6am is going down to 3 -4 days a week rather than 5 so bit easier - bet i'm still up at 5.30 though:rolleyes:

I get up at 6am and my single mindee on a Friday arrives at just after 9am. Sadly it's my own kids that get me up that early. They haven't learnt the benefit of a lie in yet :o
