Hi

Was just wondering how childcare vouchers work?

Have just had a lady called who asked if I took 'Sodexa' (You said she had probably given me wrong spelling.) vouchers.

You would need to register with the company and give all your bank details etc. The parent is either then issued with paper vouchers which you then call up and action or they request payment to be made straight into your account. Takes about a week to set up. I am registered with 3 companies. Paying directly into your account is the best option.

I have two families that pay with Sodexo vouchers on one the money goes into my bank account, the other gives me paper vouchers which I redeem by telephone, I just have to give my Sodexo account no and the voucher numbers. The telephone number is freephone so it costs me nothing.
