We are all exhausted and wilting!!!!

Know I shouldn't moan due to lack of summer this year but isn't it just too hot!?
Went to a local park with a paddling pool which was lovely but absolutely heaving. There is no shade either so I was neurotic about suncream, umbrella, lots of drinks etc and exhausted myself. Children had a fabulous time but so hot we only managed 1.5 hours.
Can't wait for last mindee to be collected so I can get into a cold shower!

I must admit i dont like it too hot in this country. Dont mind on hol when you do nothing but eat drink and sunbathe in bikini.:clapping:

sounds like a fab day though! We have a similar place near to use which like yours is always heaving.

Swealtering here too. Lots of water play. went to the local park with paddling pools but was heaving so came home after 1.5 hours. Mindees loved playing with the water in the garden. Should just have stayed here all day! lol!:laughing:

We started with mist and rain. Then we had bright sunshine and high winds. And now we have misty rain again :thumbsup:

Didn't go anywhere this afternoon, just enjoyed the garden!

We spent the day in the garden and it was fab! I only mind little ones who are more than happy to play here. We have a big garden with lots of trees, lots of equipment and a paddling pool - just as good as the park, but less crowded :laughing: We had water play, set up a shop, had lots of craft stuff out. And the advatntage of being at home is that I have everything to hand that I need.

It really was a lovely day :D

It is 44 degrees right now in my friend's garden in the south of France! :eek:

They are on severe weather warnings and water rationing!! :panic:

got to the zoo at 10am and left at 4pm we were shatterd and send the kids home with about 20 layers of suncream on:laughing:
