I moved the sand pit today and the patio underneath had gone black so a friend lent me her pressure washer to clean it up a bit. Well I had so much fun, it was really satisfying seeing the slabs turn back to a yellow color, so I tuned my attention on the the garden toys. I didn't realize how bad the plastic things had got (eg the slide and little tikes cubes) I thought they had discolored due to being out side because I had scrubbed them down a few months ago and it wouldn't come off but it was just dirt the pressure washer lifted it all off.. I ended up being covered from head to toe with splashes of mud and grime and had to go for a shower. I usually hate cleaning but this was strangely a lot of fun.

We used to use ours on DS' highchair - he could get food stuck in places we couldn't even see so every 2 weeks it was blasted with the power washer!!

I must be quite sad cos i like cleaning, not for other people, but in my own home I like cleaning, especially cleaning out and rearranging cupboards! Last to get me on it was the conservatory and all the draws and craft stuff and kids pens etc.

Made the kids have a first go at their bedrooms too today so that it is a bit less of a job when i go in!

I enjoy cleaning my house as long as the children and df aren't around. Doesn't happen often enough...

I did a bit of (or more a lot of) cleaning outside with the garden hose..it has a jet setting and is nearly as good as a pressure washer..LOL

I didnt want to stop...if only that would work on the dirt indoors too!!
