Ive just had a lady call me about childcare, she wants care 2 days a week from december for a child that will be 9mnths. my only prob is that ive signed contracts for a baby to start at the end of oct who will be 8 mnths. So i will have 2 under 1's. do you think ofsted will give me a variation for the 2 mnths till october baby is 1? they will overlap one day a week

My CM friend had same situation. Her own LO will be 1 in Sept and mindee will also be 1 in Sept. They granted her a variation for 3 months. As you only need 1 day a week for 2 months its certainly worth a try.

My philosphy with my 2 variations was that if I don't ask I'm not going to get it but if I do you never know.

you could start the second baby off on days that don't clash first and then apply for continuation of care that mum wants to change day/have extra day.
