Hi guys, just wanted to share a positive parent comment with you all. My daughter is 2 tomorrow and the mum of one of my mindees has insisted on ordering and buying her a lovely big birthday cake for the party, how sweet is that? xx

my mindee's mum turned up with 2 bottles of rose wine and a box of chocs on his last day before sept "for being so wonderful with (mindee) and taking him out yesterday". And I thought I was just doing my job! lol

Thats lovely! One of my parents and mindees once made a birthday cake for my sons and brought it over on their birthday, even though a) I didn't have the mindees on that day, and b) my boys were 16 on that birthday!!! Mum had made it and kids had decorated it with cooking chocolate and chocolate buttons!!!!!! Heaven!!!!!!!:laughing:

My mindees mum brought me a birthday cake as she said I couldnt be expected to buy my own.

I was very sick for 2 weeks with my pregnancy and couldnt work
All my parents were very understanding and one even turned up with 2 weeks money, I explained she didnt have to pay me as contract says, but she insisted saying it wasnt my fault i was ill and she gets paid if she is ill
How nice is that and it was nearly £400
