How long 'roughly' is your first OFSTED inspection after registering?
Are we talking months? years?

Hi,
I had my inspection four months after I was registered. Usually it's six months but mine was earlier because the eyfs had been introduced and the inspection criteria changed so all new childminders were being inspected as soon as possible.

once you have your certificate Ofsted will phone you up within your first 6 months to see if you have children on roll, if yes will arrange your first graded inspection, if no they will call you back again within another 6 months:thumbsup:
