Hi all,

Things have been fairly chaotic over the last few weeks and I've not had chance to come onto the forum so often. I hope you've all been keeping well. :)

It's looking as though I'll be part exchanging my 206 for a Vauxhall Zafira pretty soon. I know my current 3 wheeler double buggy isn't going to fit into the boot. My question is what buggy does?

Do you mean when all 7 seats are up? I think a mclaren techno twin does

I'd like a Maclaren but wondered if the Mamas & Papas Aria would also fit? I'll be purchasing off ebay and don't want to limit myself too much.

I have a mothercare double buggy - don't know the actual name as bought it second hand but it fits in lovely. Trick is to get onw which is not too long from handle to wheels. Previously i used to put my other double buggy in front passenger footwell.

The WE2 combi, McLaren twin traveller and the mamas n papas twin aria all fit in fine with all the seats up. I had all these buggies when I had the Zafira

Haha Jessiebessie they're popular aren't they! I'd been looking at Kia Sedona's but decided against due to the extra costs. I don't travel that many miles and the extra seats will only be used by kiddywinks. I'd ruled the Zafira out until I checked the Britax website and found out I could fit three group 1 car seats in.

I've looked more closely at the M&P Aria and don't like the 60/40 split seat idea. Is the Mothercare one a similar style to the Aria?

I'm planning on putting two group 1 seats in the rear and one group 1 seat in the middle middle, that'll leave the middle side seats for two schoolies and the front seat for my 6 year old daughter. I hope that saving the two middle side seats for schoolies will make access easier into the rear seats.

Alibali or Penny, do you have a link to the Mothercare twin? I can't find it.

I think you should put the oldest in the boot seats. I read that as they aren't as safe and also car seats other than booster and booster with backs can't be fitted properly due to the position of the seats.

I checked that the car seats would fit before going to look at the Zafira, otherwise it wouldn't be suitable. The Britax Fit-Finder recommends the Evolva 1-2-3 car seat for any of the five rear seats. I wouldn't put them in the back if I didn't think it was safe. http://www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/fit-finder/details.aspx
