I have been working on a DVD/Powerpoint of pix and movie for when E leaves next week. I have just added the music and words and played it back and I have just bawled my head of like a baby.
I am going to miss him so much:(

Tip for everyone - don't add music too it!!! lol Honestly, thank goodness no one else is here otherwise they would have thought I was seriously hurt!

Its dead easy to do really. If you have powerpoint on your pc it guides you through it and once you have had a play its childs play.
Think I might do my 'brochure and welcome pack on it!!!!

ahh Bless you! :(
What a great idea! wish I could do that. I know how you're feeling. It doesn't seem to matter how long they are with you, when they move on it brings a tear to your eye (it does me anyway!!).
Make sure you've got the toilet roll ( sorry but it's softer than kitchen roll!!) handy before you start the rejig! and a good dose of choc with a glass of wine for afters!!

Aaaah it's so sad when they leave and looking back over photos gives so many memories. I must admit I was very upset when my first mindee left as had looked after him since he was 10 weeks old - although he did leave just after he was a year old as mums' circumstances had changed. I am sure I will feel very sad when my present mindees leave as they have all been with me for quite a while, but will be going to schools out of area eventually. Hopefully it wont be for a while.

Would be a lovely gift
Are you feeling better now?
