My first planning sheet!!!

I've been observing my 2 year old mindee and he seems to love cars, trains and duplo.
I thought i'd do an individual planning sheet as I only have him Monday, Tuesday.
Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do, or any good websites I can look at.

With such a wide range of interests you can do anything eg put some cars in the sand pit, add drain pipes or guttering to play with cars or trains, use cars instead of paint brushes, add background pictures to duplo to add interest.
Have a transport theme looking at all the different ways to travel going out to spot trains or cars

I have got my first day childminding on Wednesday and I have been wondering how to go about planning activities for my obs.

You have lots of good ideas to follow there!

The most important thing is to let the child play and follow their lead.

Watch their play, listen to what they say... THEN think about ways of enhancing their play.

So the child likes cars - how else can you stimulate his learning using cars and wheeled vehicles generally?

we did painting/printing with the toy cars the other day. Just put paint into shallow pots and dipped car wheels into it and wheeled them onto coloured paper. Really easy and really effective too :thumbsup: You could do the same with duplo too come to think of it :)
