A while ago I ordered the NCMA first aid box & it's been hooked up on the wall, unused, ever since.
Yesterday DS (age 14) hurt his shoulder & I decided to put it in a sling. (I don't know that he really needed it, but I thought I'd practice my first aid on him  )
We had no triangular bandages in the family first aid box, so I used one out of the NCMA box. It was RUBBISH!! It was so thin I didn't dare pull it tight incase in ripped. It wasn't a bandage at all, just a triangular shape bit of thin cloth. DS did try tightening it & it did rip. It was in the bin within 5 minutes!
I'm so glad it wasn't a real emergency because I wouldn't like to rely on the stuff in there.
Such a disappointment :(
