Argh Confused

Ok

I finally started looking at my paperwork today

Im ok with accounts forms etc

but I am stuck on observations, how often do I do them with an 18 month old and what should I cover

also I have a 5 year old 2 hours a week how do I observe him?

also I am very confused on eyfs and ecm I thought they were the same or thats how it was explained to me.

so now I dont know what I am meant to be keeping record of and Im worried.

You should be thinking about filing your Portfolio in every child matters order as that is what the inspector inspects you on....

oh my portfolio just my certificates, policys etc in I didnt know there was a certain way to do it

Well when Ofsted come to inspect you they will do it following the 5 ECM outcomes, so best be prepared... You can see how it all fits together in my document here -
