I know i need to do this within 3 months of setting up, but is the start date when i became registered or from when I first have income?

Yes. When you first earn money from childminding:)
But you can still log any expences as strat-up costs:thumbsup:

The guy I spoke to at IR said to phone up after finishing first day of paid work & that their open till 8pm x
