...... i mentioned to E's Nan that i had noticed that there was a dorothy the dinosaur show on locally and would it be ok for me to take E during the holidays, she said it would. She came yesterday and asked if i had already booked and i said no not yet, she then handed me some money to pay for us all to go! She said i did so much for E that they would like to do something so i was really choked!

makes up for the parent who just presumed i would take his daughter to school yesterday morning without any text / phonecall etc, only contracted Mon to Thurs.......i didn't have to go up to school yesterday too! I did snap at him and he said his mobile was down so i said i presume the house phone was down too then!

I must be a bit out of touch because I've never heard of Dorothy the Dinosaur! I'm going to Google her now so I don't feel left out!

Monkey, that nearly made me cry when I read about your kindly Nan, one of my mums gave me a slice of cake to chear me up one week and it really does make you feel appreciated...even the smallest of gestures can set me off!

I had a chat to my mindees granny the other day at school, she said "ohh so you are A" and we had a nice chat, I think parents do appreciate what we do but are sometimes too busy to tell us!!
