I had an enquiry via netmums for an 8 month old from end october. Technically I don't have a space BUT one of my mindees mums keeps messing me about with hours. She is lovely and LO is adoreable BUT I need regular money coming in , she works shifts - I do charge a minimum amount each week + any extra hours, but she can't make up her mind if she wants to quit her job or not:rolleyes: This enquiry would be 3 full days a week which would suit me fine along side my full timer, my own son and one other part timer. Think my minds made up if she replies to my reply and things go well!!

I don't blame you. At the end of the day it comes down to money and if it suits you go for it!

I think you have to do whats right for you. We all bend and shape for families but at the end of the day however lovely a family is, you are not a charity, you are a business earning money to keep your family.

I would go for it. If current mum is talking about quitting her job anyway then you could use that as a reason if you give notice.
