Has anyone ever had a quad pushchair?
If so where did you buy it and was it ok to use? Im needing to get one but i only seem to be able to find ones in new zealand :( (not sure im too keen on these! Price puts me off too) or theres one by foundations in the states. I cant seem to find any others!

You could buy a second hand easylife double sport (they come up occasionally on ebay etc) and then import the seats that fit on the front from New Zealand. THis is what I did and it worked out not too expensive.

Not sure what your budget is but found this one:

http://www.twinsuk.co.uk/more_details.php?id=100374

Just found it cheaper on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lightweight-Aroo-Double-Tandem-Pushchair/dp/B001UCFJWQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1246035465&sr=8-1

The one customer reviewer seems positive.

What ages would you need it for? That would have a large bearing on how easy or hard it is to push.

i will have a 6 month old, 2 x 2yrs and 18months, its for septemebr...hence the need for a buggy of this size. Those look great on that link, thanks, the foundations one i have found from america is about £450 delivered (not a clue how to put a link on!) but its on amazon.com.

And if you didn't have big biceps before, you'd soon have them!!!!!!

I have an easylife sport double with two toddler seats and i really like it, i do not find it as heavy as pushing a side by side triple and it is really sturdy.

I imported mine from new zealand and the company i dealt with were fantastic, their customer service was excellent and the pushchair is incredibly sturdy, i have the solid tyre options as the thought of punctures when you need to use it would be a nightmare.

  yeah, im hoping to not have to go the gym!! tone up those biingo wings! I hoping it would be easier than the side by side triple im pushing around at mo..even though there will be more in it! Thats the one on the link that i saw Helen, it just seems a bit better built than the ones you found in uk

The only thing that puts me off the imported nz one is the price but i might keep my eye out on ebay, though i think im tempted with the other ones

Starting to think i might be a bit crazy!! :D

I have an easylife triple too (and an obaby triple stroller), the easylife is far easier to push than the stroller, lovely huge seats and shopping basket too. I've also looked into importing an extra seat and the exchange rate is so good that it's much cheaper than I thought it would be.

I bought mine off ebay for £40 and it's fabulous! They pop up now and again so well worth keeping an eye out even if you can only find the double as the toddler seats are so easy so get.
