Does anyone know where I can buy a fold away play table?

The kind I'm looking at is similar to a folding camping table that I can put behind the sofa at the ends of the day but was looking for a nicer looking one.

I got mine from Galt in the sale . exspensive but solid and folds so good for storage.

Got mine from NES Arnold (same as Galt!) in the sale for about £70 or so.

Worth it though, strong, big enough for 4-6 kids to use and folds away behind the sofa in the evening (the best bit of all:rolleyes: )

I too got one from Galt (like the ones used in nurseries) not cheap, but very sturdy and versatile and at the end of the day can be stored behind my sofa :D

How about getting the camping one for now? You could always sell it on when you get the one you want.

Maybe you could decorate it to look a little nicer or put a tablecloth on it?

Just be careful with the surface of the table you get. Mine was from galt and it scrubs up really well. The table I used to have had a slightly bobbly surface and it was much harder to keep clean.

This one looks OK, but a bit more than you want to spend.

Its around £42 for the table and chairs and then the shipping is around £12 but I imagine it would be more than the $19.99 to the UK

As it includes the chairs I think that's a great price :clapping:

I have a Gopak folding table and it is one the best things I have ever bought. So good that I will be getting another one next month. It is more than you wanted to pay but a sound investment. Mine is used daily and looks as good as new after 18 months

How about this?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=310140460873

We have one which we use when we go camping but the the legs are adjustable and goes down to the same height as the Gopak ones...pretty sturdy...they do them in blue and red or black/ white. They fold into a tiny square and are sturdier than they look. Will seat 4-6 kids.

And are in budget at £21.95....

We have one of these for camping and its very comfortable and easily sits adults so is very sturdy. Packs away nicely too and all in one ie no having to fold and store seats seperately.

£20 is good - I would go for this and see how you get on with it

I have a height adjustable folding table that has an aluminium edging and a plan white top, it folds in half and clips shut. I got it from ebay as i couldn't afford one of the gopak ones, it is really good and i just put one of the wipeable table cloths on it.
