Sharing obs with another minder with permission

Doing my DHC3 coursework frantically before dh brings the kids back from a party - I'm a very good venus today as I had my course all day as well - and I'm answering question B: 'Analyse the importance of working with other professionals in the interest of the child'

One of my littlies goes to anothe rminder on Mondays and me three other days a week. How much should we be sharing? In terms of paperwork, discussions about the development of the little one etc?

Good practice suggests you have a book which goes between settings and which talks about the child's likes, dislikes, favourite toys, food fads, sleep habits etc etc.

Also that you get together to talk about learning and development, with parents and other minder, regularly - say every 6 months or so.

You might also set up some 'I've been fab today because...' or 'wow I've just...' system so you can feed back to each other with new things the child is doing.
