I have just had the parents holidays for this year and only 3 out of 14 want me so I have decided to take an additional 2 weeks off (already have the last 2 weeks in August off) so no work for me in August. :clapping: :clapping:

Hope that the summer is a good one now

ooo how lovely. I'm away the first two weeks of the school holidays and then working all the way through. Thankfully most of my older mindees don't come but how nice would it be to have a month off!!

Enjoy.:D

I'm off the 1st week in august and only have 2 part timers the rest of the month. One who is only 3 hours a week the other will be either 1 or 2 full days each week. Not too much which suits me just fine!!!:D

I finish at the end of term and hopefully (if contracts are signed and current child comes to my new house) start back on 24 Aug.

In between there is the house move exciting but SO MUCH to do!

Will need the time to sort out the new house and decorate this one for, hopefully, renting out

ooooh I am jealous too! I have booked 1 week off but not going anywhere, got the family coming up to stay :clapping: all 12 of them!

Although having said that one family are off for two weeks and the new ones are off for two weeks and it crosses over for one week ( I think from memory!) so that'll be fab for me, not had a break since I had a long weekend first weekend in Feb! :panic:

I nnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddd a break.

I hope you enjoy the rest. I used to always have the whole of August off when my children were young. It was only a couple of years ago that I started getting bored  as they didn't need me.
I found I was meeting up with my childminder friends and helping them out :panic:

Lucky you!!!!!!!! I only have 5 on my books at the mo, but out of those 5 none of them are off on the same week :( just means that I will still be working every day, just some days with only 1 child! It would have been lovely if a couple could have been off the same time and let me had a few days off (without having to lose money :D )
