not buying those explanations???? oh ok then....

no we went up to Scotland to do a quad race (a very nice cheap one:thumbsup: - the club is just starting up and they invited certain people to attend to get start getting it of the ground) at Cardenden. And then we were due to come back Saturday night but our friends were going to one on Sunday at Duns and that is on the way back for us so we called in to watch.

Saturday's race: Rob and Harry done well - although at one point H's throttle stuck open and sent him through the bungee cord - which nearly throttled him and has left lovely 1.5inch friction burn gash (approx half inch deep) on the side of his neck - he was actually quite lucky and thanks to all his gear that he has to wear and his presence of mind to turn his head he has been very lucky (it was treated by the paramedics - first injury ANY of my lads have had that required medical treatment in 15 years of racing:rolleyes: )

and we have found out they do a 4-6yr old mini-class so James can 'race'.

actually knowing you lot you probably bought the first explanation didn't you:D
