We've arranged for a rail safety talk from a health and safety rep at our local train station. Got the local paper coming to take some pics! Kids are really excited.

I'm going to do stranger danger - have noticed my 4yo mindee is not backward in coming forward and is always talking to randoms and saying my name is XX and I'm 4yo blah blah - think she needs a few pointers!!

Got my CAPT pack through the other day so the poster is up on the wall, and am amassing some leaflets on all manner of child safety stuff to give to parents.

Thanks didn't realise it was child safety week.

I'll ask if dd & mindee's pre-school have anything planned. Do you think if they had anything like a visit from the fire service would it be rude to ask if I could tag along with my other mindees?
I'm the only childminder in this area (nearest is an hours bus ride for me) so can't organise anything like this with a cm group.
