Been to Australia today

Yes you heard me - I have been to Oz today on the back of a motorbike lol

I - mindee (edited to show that I is my mindee not as in me-I ..... didn't realise how it read until you lot starting saying I was nuts!!! lol) was looking at the maps today and our collage of holiday destinations and got interested in Australia - so we got the globe out and James had left his mini-moto (pretend plug into the tv thingy) bike out.
So little miss biker chick (I) got on the bike, told me to get on - then get off so I could get the globe so we knew where we were going (silly me:rolleyes: ) and get back on -
oh you should have seen me perched on the back of this bike, well squattng really as it wouldn't have taken my weight and there was nowhere for me to put myself really.... good grief my knees and legs were hurting - especially when we were swinging round corners!

but we got there and had a lovely day (we remembered our hats and suncream) - we visited the koalas and kangaroos, took in the great barrier reef and said g'day to some aboriginies. Made it back just in time for 4.30:D

My oh moved from Perth to Melbourne about 3 years ago. And then to the UK. My son has been travelling and he absolutely loved Melbourne.
