decided while i'm waiting for my inspection and certificate i'm going to do leaflet drops to houses in my local are. Has anyone else made their own advertising info? Is it possible to have a nose at someone's for inspiration?
Many thanks

hi i got some free business cards printed from vista print (you only pay for postage ) and used them to put in letterboxes. Didn't get any calls from it though! :)

I did a leaflet drop through the local school and door to door and have started getting calls from them now. Apparently one of the mums has seen quite a few stuck on the fridge when she has gone to peoples houses - so people have definately kept them for future reference which is ace.

I also put them up on noticeboards in and around the area.

I am now full - so they definately helped :)

Vista print is excellent and they normally have some cracking offers on where you only pay for postage for what you've ordered.

I have microsoft word and can't do anything professional looking on it!!!
Don't want to spend money on having them designed and printed as don't know how much response i'll get from them.
Want to make my own but can't seem to do anything good enough!!!:(

Wow! That's really good. I can just about use the computer to make watermark paper and put pictures on it, but i do the text seperately, so i print out a load of 'pretty paper' and print over the top of it.
It would have to be black and white of course as it must cost a forturne in ink! :panic:
