I'm specialising in children under 3 and am looking to buy/obtain some new exciting resources for my new mindees starting in sept.

what would you recommend? i'm looking for exciting, innovative resources that kids might not have at home!!

I have a dark den that can be filled with differen lights, I've even been inside with a torch to read a story using a book that has reflective sparkly inserts in so it shines with the torch. The children use it as a den then we have stuck illuminous starts inside and they have been in a rocket.

Just a really different kind of play tent

I got it free on a multi sensory course but they are not expensive I've seen them in TTS and are approx £40.

Treasure basket

Large wall mirror

Big bag of different fabrics- great for sensory exploration and peekaboo games :thumbsup:

Buggies, bags, purses etc for shopping games

Box of bits and bobs toys - Mcdonalds etc - they all do something and the children spend ages going through them...

Until they start throwing :rolleyes: :D

Teaset and cooking utensils in kiddy's kitchen - favoured resource for both boys and girls :thumbsup: I have fake food etc. so they make me tea everyday Mmmm

Balls.... I have all shapes and sizes.

Dressing up - hats, bags, necklaces etc.
