just curious as to what risk assessments you NEED to do, what you do anyway and what kind of things you put in them, what kind of format do you do? I am struggling with this

at the mo I am doing a daily one but I was looking at it today and it just seemed like I had written the same thing everyday and not actually risk assessed just made sure i had kind of cleaned up a bit! I wanted something a little more detailed!! anyone got anything i can get some ideas from or know any websites that have some on?! ta x x

RA for outings, visits, places you visit reguarly ...

Go round every room and think about the hazard - and how you tackle it to make it safe... from hangers over doors to covers on sockets, to keeping babies away from dangling curtains to securing bookcases to stop them toppling...

There are daily checklists and examples of how to do risk assessments under eyfs plus blank sheets you can download and adapt/fill in yourself

Isn't there a risk assment form on this website in the resources section, that is the one i use.

NOOOOOOOO! I have a sickness policy in place - looks like that's not enough for the Care Commission now either
