Temp mindee leaving....

Was only supposed to have her for 2 weeks - turned into 14 weeks and have got so attached as has my DS who is 5 months older than her. Mum has found a new nanny who should be starting next week. Really sad will miss her but we have said we will have to keep in touch and that the nanny will be asked to bring her round to mine to play once she is settled.

Think nanny has 2 weeks hols booked for June so will have her then.... still so upset:(

Its so hard this job. I had a temporary mindee for a few weeks too and he left on Weds, he was just beginning to open up to me and he was a lovely little boy. He is going to a private school nursery as soon as he is 2 which is 1st June so I won't be having him any more :-(

I had a temp mindee (6 months old) who was meant to go to workplace nursery when he was 1yr. He is still with me now aged 2 :thumbsup:

Will prob lose him when I move, feel terrible - he is such a sweetie too :o
