Hi Does anyone know where i can get some milk crates for outdoor play? Preferably free but would be willing to pay something for them.

Try popping in to your local Dairy, they may have some old ones knocking about or stop a local Milkman and ask them if they could get hold of a couple for you.

The local Family Centre got them from a local shop - they were getting them with their milk delivery.

What are you planning on doing with them?

well...! my local preschool have some and they are put outside every day and the children use them for building dens etc and sometimes they use them as a barrier so that bikes are used one side and children can play freely on the other.

Plastic crates were recommended as a good outside play toy on a course I went on recently.

I'd ask at your local greengrocers.
