Does anyone know why the learning and developing grids repeat the ages i.e. birth to 11mths then 8 to 20 mths etc? Makes a lot of paperwork when i am writing up child progress sheets in all the areas.

Do you think it would be ok to just do 11 mths to 20mths etc etc ?

because child dev is not a finite science, different children develop at different rates and different ages , these are just guidelines and there will be a lot of overlapping, look at the charts as just a broad overview....ooh i'm not explaining myself very well....may be someone else can do it better:)
