safety glass question

is it ok to put a safety glass film on a glass door unit.

I originally said to the inspector we were going to change our unit but we cannot find anything we like or it is so pricey.

Since it is ok to put safety proof film on the glass of my front door i was wondering if the same applied for a cabinet unit

Yes any glass that is not safety glass should have film back and front.

Then do a risk assessment to show you are aware of the hazard and have taken steps to protect the children. :D
