The 4 year old little girl I will be looking after still has naps of 2 hours a day. I have a travel cot for the 20 months old baby but didnt think about an elder child having naps.

Where would you put the child for nap, I have a sofa bed upstairs but need to make bed etc for 2 days per week ( until sept) or buy a flatable bed and a sleeping bag?

sorry it may sound silly but what do you do in that case?

I put a washable cover/sheet on sofa and they sleep there with a cot blanket/fleece - easy to wash.

i'd just pop her on the sofa with a couple cushions on the floor, my 4 year old doesn't sleep any more but has a quiet time on the sofa watching tv after lunch and occasionally nods off!

I have a childs foam chair that folds out to a single matress.
I use Ikea cheapy childrens sheets and blankets which I just pop into the wash at the end of each day.
