I'm trying to finish off the booklet ready for pre-reg and I'm a bit confused about one of the questions.

37. The six areas of learning. When they ask for an example of play activity for each area of learning for a very young child and a four year old, are they asking for an activity that is suitable for both the children or two activites one for each age group? I took it as two different activities, but now I'm not sure. Would 0-12 months be the age of the very young child referred to?

I would say an activity for each child, so

PSED - young child... using mirrors to enhance sense of self

PSED - older child... encouraging to join in and share during group activites

CLL - young child... using signs as well as words to support understanding

Etc.. :D

Glad it's not something that works for both age groups as I was struggling with that.
