I am just completing my SEF, yawn, had no idea it would take me days lol
Just wondering how often you all record your home and garden risk assessments? I haven't done one for a while...how many would Ofsted want to see?

Hi,
I do daily risk assessments on all the rooms/garden that i use when childminding. I also check the fridge temp and smoke alarms daily. I think ofsted want to see daily risk assessments! (or so im led to believe!! )

Good luck with the SEF recently started mind but been doing it in small bits as i get bored!!!

Oh I hope not lol
My daily risk assessment involves a hoover, tidy and visual check. I have written in my sef that 'I undertake a daily visual risk assessment before the children arrive. I do not keep a written record of this as I feel it would, in my practice, be impractical.'
would this not be ok?
