I left my Quinny Zapp in the garage and it's now got specks of mildew on it. I've tried washing the seat cover in the washing machine (hand wash setting) but it's not shifted it. Has anyone had this problem before and is there anything I can do to remove it? :(

When my old maclaren buggy was covered in mildew i scrubbed it with diluted milton and left it in the sun to dry...it worked a treat:)
ps I didn't rinse it off I think that helped:)

Warm water, bleach and a scrubbing brush.

There are some sprays that say they work but if you check the ingredients they are usually a weak bleach mix.

Don't forget to wear your gloves! Not good for skin

Yes bleach - what colour is the cover? you need to be careful but if you wipe it all over then if it does fade then it should fade equally - I hope that helps I'd be careful of Dettol mold and Mildew remover as it appears to be very strong and will definately result in white patches where you spray it.

Dettol mould and mildew remover, spray on, don't scrub, leave it for 5 mins then rinse off, if still there, do it again for 5 mins etc etc. Put through the wash again afterwards to make sure all traces are gone.

It's only bleach and water but in appropriate amounts, I've done a Phil & Teds and a M&P with nothing like white flecks etc. If in doubt, test on the back first.
