I have just got my newsletter from Lincolnshire County Childminding Association and it says the following "freebie package for Childminders - ALL childminders (in Lincolnshire) will be getting a music pack from Sound Lincs; a £100 voucher for ELC; two books to help with observing etc, plus later in the years there will be a £50 to £100 geift voucher for Waterstones"

I am really pleased for you lot in Lincs but it does make me mad that things can't be uniform across the country. There are lots of cms really struggling to find affordable, quality play/learning tools and they could really do with something like this.

Its another case of Postcode lottery:(

Thats great - enjoy it.:clapping:

Like Penny I wish it was across the country - our LA decide on how these things are spent and nearly always the nurseries and pre-schools get first dibs:angry:

I must say in Lincs we do quite well, last year we got a toys r us card with £100 to spend on it, the only stipulation was that it was for resources to promote inclusion. We also get good funding for training.

Don't everyone move here though dont want too much competition

Not sure why you haven't got anything, did you get the £100 last year. Get in touch with the Lincolnshire County Childcare Associaion, I got automatic affiliation, not sure why only registered in the usual way. They send out newsletters etc. Or try contacting the birth to five service in Lincoln.
