CRB CHECKS

Hi

Just a quick query. Had my pre reg ofsted visit about 3 weeks ago (all wwent well) Was told CRB checks taking about 4-6 weeks then should get registered certificate about 14 days late. What happens about CRB when all checked and all ok? Do they call, write or do you just wait for certificate to come through???

I'm sure ofsted lady told me but forgotton now as been busy finalising my paperwork.

You can track your CRB online to see what stage its at. Once its done at stage 5 (printing it) they will send you out your CRB disclosure, ofsted will also get a copy then after a week or 2 if all check are fine you will get your cert from ofsted recorded delivery.

If you haven't got the ref number you can call them and they will look you up using your DOB and postcode.

Anything from a couple of week, mine was about 6 (I tihnk from memory).

Just checked mine and my stage 3 was completed on 21st of april, so hoping stage 4 will soon be done

Hi,mine has just been despatched it has taken just over 7 weeks :mad: and was at stage 4 for most of that time. x x x

Mine took 5 weeks, my hubbys took 4 months:eek:

I'll be gone crazy if mine was to take four months been nearly 4 weeks and donig my head in already.

My friend who submitted her forms before me is still waiting, that's 5 months now:panic:
