Reading and Writing

I don't suppose anyone has anything about 'how children learn to read and write' please. I have mark making matters and teaching effective vocabulary.

Does anyone have anything about the physicial side of writing etc

Do you mean practising fine motor skills and building muscle control as precursors to holding pencils and having arm and finger strength to write?

I know a bit about it but I don't know where it's written down. :D
