flooring-sorry for all the questions

im close to having inspection and just need to know whats best :)

my mum wants to change the flooring in kitchen and utilty she does want stone but like a soft stone but im worrid ofsted will hate this cuz very painful if u slip she did say se would have lino but iu feel bad as its my mothers homeand she payin for it just wondered if ofsted do hate that kind of flooring we have a kindof stone in the upstairs bathroom here a pic but u wnt b able reli c what it is!

What kind of flooring do u reccomend does not have to be stone?

Its completely up to you what sort of florring you have. Ofsted will just want to see via a risk assess for example how you instend to keep the children safe and minimise any risks. Perhaps you just need to point out to inspector that you have identified things like ensuring spills are dealt with straight away, very young toddlers are directly supervised or not allowed in the kitchen etc.

hi have terracotta tiles in the kitchen and dining area and tiles in the hall, they are slippy if they get wet and ofsted have never said anything about them. and to be honest i don't think they are on my house risk assessment either
