Just got all the paperwork from my local authority and they give £500 if you get outstanding report from the 1st ofsted visit.

Is that possible?

WOW wish I'd got that!

I got an Outstanding at my first inspection. I've never been a teacher and only worked in a nursery for a few months when I was 18.

It is possible, all you can do is your best.

Wow thats good

I only got good despite 18 years childcare experience and being a qualified Early Years teacher - my inspector didn't give out outstandings to fisrt timers. Although she did say that with some more experience under my belt she didn't see why I shouldn't get it next time!!!!!!

Me too Shelly,I had lots of experience in other settings.

Was really peeved with satisfactory, she said I didn't have enough experience of minding.

Also she told me all newbies get satisfactory as a matter of course.
