Pauline asked me if Chelltune would like to donate a prize to this forums Birthday celebrations on 8th May.

I've just blogged about Childmindinghelp and Pauline, you can read it at www.chelltune.co.uk/blog

I have several of your First Signs books. They are lovely.

It was good to see some infro on your blog about Glue Ear. My daughter suffered from it very badly. She was older than children normally are when they get it (year 4 8yrs)
Because of the hearing difficulties she found being in the playground very difficult and as a result was bullied. The primary school she was at refused to deal with the issues and in the end we moved her to a new school who were fantastic. She eventually grew out of it. The Ear/Nose and Throat specialist was very reluctant to do gromets and was considering fitting hearing aids but it cleared up. It was not a happy 18 months though.
