Struggling to link Ob to EYFS.....

i have a couple of quotation obs from my children that i'm struggling to link to EYFS if anyone can help...please do :)
"Our boat is made of plastic"
"Me see picture of me in mirror"

Hi, i'm not much help but didnt want to read and run. I havent had any kids in EYFS yet but got one starting in june so will be interested to see replys!!

Our boat is made of plastic-

CD- use language and other forms of communication to share the things they create
KUW- Investigate various construction materials
CLL- Language for communication- Learn new words rapidly and are able to use them in communicating about matters that interest them

PSED-Become aware of themselves as seperate from others
