help with observation records

Hi all

I've just started looking after a 3 yr old and was wondering if i had to do observations on her and write them down in a book. she goes to nursery every day and they keep track of what she's doing...i was just wondering if i need to write anything down to show ofsted or her parents:eek:

Hi, yes it's important that you do a learning journey so you can show Ofsted that the child is being well cared for when with you. Also you cannot plan for the child's needs until you have done some observations... :D
