Hey all was wondering how you all set out your planning? i have decided how i want to do my observations. But was wondering how to implement my planning, i have done EYFS planning for the nursery i used to work at, but that was very indepth and we had the space for a Role play area, Messy area, quiet area. ect. but obviously dont have that space at home.

Hope you can help.

I have an excel sheet with Monday to Friday across the top and 5 weeks down the left hand side - routines and planning goes in the boxes. 1 of these per month and there is enough room to make changes too. I also have a 2 year plan which is on a separate sheet which has a rough idea of which theme I want to do.

To be honest it doesn't matter what you do as long as it is there to see - I usually scribble all over it and change 15 out of 20 boxes anyway

I use some planning docs i bought from Sarah707

I agree with above that it doesn't matter about the format so long as it works for you and it does all get changed - sometimes i wonder why i planned at all:laughing:
