I have a development officer coming to see me today, can i get her to sign in visitors book? as its empty still:blush:

If you are minding children then yes, fill the book in.

I put name of person visiting, reason for visit, children present, time, date and then I sign it (you could get visitor to sign it too).

I would, just to be on the safe side. You never know what they will pull you up on. Maybe I'm wrong but I still would :)

Yes I got mine to sign when there were no kids there as I still only have 2 people in there :blush:

I don't bother to get visitors to sign if there are no mindees present, but given that it is a CDO coming i would get them to sign just for the novelty value, as that is the last thing in a million years that would happend around here.

CDO's coming to visit in Dacorum, more chance of pigs flying!:laughing: :laughing: :laughing: Sorry for the sarcasm:laughing:

I have playdates, SKY installers, Elec readers etc. all fill in visitors book.

Hi, i have a book, you dont need to have one under EYFS, so ofsted shouldnt pick you up on it, i wouldnt get people to sign it unless you have children there.
