My very first mindee is starting tomorrow. I have cleaned the house and garden, got all my paperwork as ready as I want it to be, have had 3 settling in visits, and have planned activities for next couple of weeks. Why do I feel so completely unprepared for tomorrow?

I think all will agree that we all get anxious when a newbie starts and until routine settles etc - your fear of the unknown is what makes you concientious! Does that make sense - good luck and the day will sail by!!

Take care

She must have either died from exhaustion or is sitting dazed rocking back and forth from the trauma of it all cause she never go back to tell us how it went.

Hi sorry I did - just on another post! I have never been very good with this forum business. It went well thanks - he seems to sleep most of the time - the result of being a bit overwhelmed by my 18 month old and 3 yr old charging around and generally being busy making sure he is OK! I spent most of last week end planning an action packed schedule for the next 4 weeks but I reckon it should last me about a year. By the time they are all fed, changed, my DS1 has been to the loo, had sleeps and rests and we have made the twice daily journey to and from playgroup to drop off and collect DS1 there does not seem to be a lot of time left for much!
Thanks again!
