I had a phone call this afternoon asking if I had 2 places, the mum came round and said she would like me to start Mon! Her kids go to another childminders 2 days and I'm to have them 3.

Because they attend another childminders how do I do the EYFS thing? The eldest attends play school in the morn, so she will end up with 3 learning journey books.
Also, Mum doesn't speak much English, so it was a bit of a struggle. Think I'll have a chat with the other childminder, and get more info.

good start to talk to the other cm, she maybe willing to share information in a form of a daily diary with you. Dont forget to ask her if she gains information from the preschool this may save you the effort as she could share that information too with parents permission.
