Hey guys i know this has been posted before have read through what i can find but still have a few Q's.

I mind my nephew for 4 days a week, my sister in-law approached me today and said that she had an Email to say my nephew was now entitled to the 5 funded sessions a week. and asked if he could do them with me as she doesn't want to send him to pre-school until september. So i said i'll look into it, now........

I guess i need to be accredited, who do i contact to find out about this?
What is involved in becoming accredited?
How long will the whole process take me?

Sorry to rabble on,
Katie xx

You need to speak to your local people.

It depends where you live - they won't accredit childminders in Cheshire for example.

The course can be long - there are people on here who have been qualifying for some time... again it is different depending on where you live.

Hth :D

Hey guys thanks for that have just emailed the lady in charge of Nursery Funding at my local council so hopefully she'll be able to get me started. dont think i'll be done by september tho.
So i'm wondering wether it's worth the hassle?

Thanks again
