gone potty?

One of my mindees is 19mths and his Mother is asking if I'm able to let him run about my house naked to see if he'll use the potty! Apparently he 'occasionally' has wee's at home but he's struggling with his number 2's. Am I wrong to suggest that this is probably a bad idea, for his own sake and for my carpet?!!

tricky one does he show an interest when he is with you ?

I would say to parents you cant allow him to run naked due to the other children in your care so she must provide plenty of changes of clothing.

I allowed my own children to be bare bottomed that was before I childminded but wouldnt like a minded child to be bare bottomed around my other mindess especially as most are now over 8 and are aware of differences.

Strange how different parents can be

My parent has told me that under no circumstances is her daughter to go around with a bare bum - not that we do that anyway but funny how they are all different

I would just say that is not how you do things in your setting and explain how you do things I am sure she will understand
