I wish. I put mine in this morning and nearly died at the bill. I am going to have a good look at it tonight and see what I have missed before I finally press that big button to submit

Same here, nearly died, gone through again and again and cant take anymore off so I spose I'll have to pay it.

Do you pay yours now or wait until it has to be paid by Jan 2010?????

Keep the money in my bank and let the interest grow. I work out how much it is and divide it up between May and January and put it in an ISA

They want two payments of me

1st payment jan 2010
2nd payment july 2010

I was thinking of paying tax now for 2008-2009 and then completing and paying tax in april 2010.

Will they still what this payment in July 2010??

Been trying to ring them all day but just keep telling me they dont have any free available technical advistors to speak to me.

First time had to pay tax so all confusing to me:(

Any tax owed from this year will be taken by the end of January 2010 plus they ask for 50% again towards next year (1/2 in Jan and 1/2 in July). This is then taken off of the following years tax. I save and pay by internet on 30th January.

I'm glad i don't have to pay any as it's all too confusing. I only have 1 full time mindee and 3 part timers so don't earn that much really plus i put loads down for expenses. My milage adds up to a lot weekly as it's a 7mile round trip to nursery/school 3 times a day
