Do you mean the covers that go in the socket to stop little fingers from entering or pushing things in?
I have them in my sockets
Hope this is what you meant :)

I have them in all unused sockets, just as well as it was one of things my inspector checked on at my last inspection.

I've stopped using them after reading the thread on here. Have risk assessed and named the webb site which demonstrated why it is better not to use them.

ROSPA, royal society for prevention of accidents don't recommend them either

I have them in all of my sockets, but read in Nursery World that they are not recommended any more. I think I will have to check with my Network Co-ordinatior.

I used to have them but now have taken them out of the sockets after reading about the potential dangers of them
and I didn't know that UK sockets had internal shutters in them anyways..

Please everyone, take them all out and read the thread linked above.

I used to have them but was really shocked about the potential dangers after seeing the video on the thread.

I had my inspection recently and have even highlighted in red on my health and safety policy that i don't use them and referred the reader to the link.

Inspector made no comment. There is no risk in leaving them open without covers - they are more dangerous with covers on!
